What's Happening at the Ranch?

Hayrides: Climb aboard and enjoy a relaxing hayride around the ranch as the evening settles in.

Straw Bale Roping: Test your cowboy or cowgirl skills and see if you can rope the target!

Bobbing for Apples: Enjoy this classic fall favorite that's sure to bring plenty of laughter and friendly competition.

Fireside Cowboy Tales: Gather around the crackling fire for cowboy stories, conversation, and a little Western charm.

Cocoa & Hot Apple Cider: Warm up with a delicious cup of hot cocoa or apple cider while enjoying the crisp autumn air.

Treat yourself to a day of renewal, learning, and connection at Double Hearts Ranch during our Horses, Hearts & Harmony workshop. This unique experience blends mindfulness, natural wellness, and the peaceful presence of our rescued horses and donkeys in a beautiful ranch setting.

Designed for licensed professionals and anyone seeking to reduce stress and create healthier daily habits, this ARCH-informed workshop combines evidence-based wellness education with experiential learning. 

Throughout the day, you'll explore practical ways to incorporate Young Living Essential Oils into your home and personal wellness routines while participating in meaningful, ground-based equine-assisted learning activities.

Create your own collection of natural wellness products to take home, including items for household cleaning, personal care, relaxation, and everyday wellness. You'll also receive recipes and instructions so you can confidently continue using what you've learned long after the workshop ends.

Participants will enjoy guided mindfulness exercises, reflective activities with the horses, interactive discussions, hands-on make-and-take projects, and time to relax in the peaceful surroundings of Double Hearts Ranch. Come walk through the Christmas story through the eyes of the humble donkey who carried Mary to Bethlehem. This interactive event is perfect for families, children, church groups, and anyone who loves the true meaning of Christmas!

Spend time with our sweet ranch donkeys and learn how God used a humble donkey to help carry the Savior’s story to Bethlehem.  Candlelight service.

The holiday season can be especially tender for those walking through grief. Join us at Double Hearts Ranch for Reins of Hope: Healing from Grief and Loss through Connection with Horses — a restorative afternoon designed to help you reconnect, reflect, and rediscover balance and peace.

 Through the gentle presence of horses and the creative process of developing a Neurographic Art Journal, participants will explore healthy ways to navigate loss, release emotion, and cultivate personal renewal in a peaceful ranch setting. This reflective art process helps calm the mind and open new pathways for healing — no art experience required.

 What to Expect:

Guided interactions with horses that encourage grounding, trust, and emotional healing.  Step-by-step creation of your own Neurographic Art Journal as a tool for reflection and renewal.  Quiet reflection and time to connect with others who understand the journey of loss

Who Should Attend:
This program is designed for adults experiencing grief or loss of any kind — whether from the death of a loved one, a major life transition, or other personal challenges. No prior experience with horses or art is necessary, only an open heart and the desire for healing and connection.

Please note: Portions of this program will take place outdoors with the horses. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather, including layers, closed-toe shoes, and warm outerwear as needed.

Space is limited to 8 participants to ensure a personalized and supportive experience — early registration is encouraged.
